We Are the Solution! The Carriage House and our new Chestnut Cottage are the only free standing communities of their kind serving Southern Rhode Island and Southeastern Connecticut, dedicated to the Care of those with Alzheimer's and other dementias. Today, The Carriage House and Chestnut Cottage set the standard by which all Alzheimer's communities are measured. Both communities are staffed by trained and experienced professionals who are fully committed to providing our residents with a superb quality of life in an environment that eliminates stress, aggravation and confusion.

The Mission of The Carriage House and Chestnut Cottage is to provide an environment that will support our resident's remaining cognitive abilities. It is our goal to enhance our resident's functioning, accommodate their behavior changes, provide them with safety and security and encourage their independence. We highly encourage our resident's families to be a big part of their family members' life. Family members are free to participate in activities, group meetings and meal if they wish.
